Do I need an account?

No. You can load, unfold, edit and export without one. An account is only needed to keep projects in the cloud.

How do I save a project?

Click Save in the studio, give the project a name, and it is stored privately in your account with the model, settings and every edit.

Saving projects to the cloud is a Pro feature. On a free account, Save shows the Pro plans instead. Loading, unfolding, editing and exporting need no account at all.

What is an .unfold.json session file?

A small file on your own drive that holds your layout, settings and edits, so you can carry on later or move a project between computers.

You can also download a session file from any saved project card, using Save file.

Why is there a 25 project limit?

Each project stores your original model, and 25 projects keeps the plan sustainable at its price. Delete a project to free a slot, or keep older work as session files.

Are my models private?

Yes. Loading, unfolding, editing and exporting all happen in your browser. A model is only uploaded if you deliberately save the project, and saved files are visible only to your account.
